Gouger

An inner planing machine for milling the inside of the cane. You can mill the cane straight, or with a centre dip towards the middle.

The centre dip produces noticeably better results, especially with softer cane.

No soaking required — the machine works with dry cane. The carbide-tipped cutter stays sharp for a very, very long time.
