General Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 2026. These terms govern the business relationship between Hipper Machines (Christoph Hipper, Osterkam 21, 83101 Rohrdorf, Germany) and its customers.
§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Hipper Machines and its customers — both consumers and businesses — concerning the sale of the machines and tools presented on this website. The version in force at the time of the order applies.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products on the website does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to make an enquiry. By submitting an enquiry through the contact form or by email, the customer expresses non-binding interest. Hipper Machines then sends a binding offer by email containing price, shipping costs, delivery time and payment terms. The contract is concluded when the customer expressly accepts this offer by email.
§ 3 Prices and Payment
All product prices listed on the website are in Euro (€) and include 19 % German value-added tax. Shipping costs are not included; they depend on the delivery address, weight and shipping method, and are calculated individually on request and stated in the binding offer. Payment is by advance bank transfer. The bank details, payment deadline and exact terms are communicated in the offer or order confirmation. The machine is built and shipped only after the purchase price has been received in full.
§ 4 Delivery and Shipping
Because each machine is built by hand, the delivery time can vary depending on workload. It is communicated individually in the offer. Shipment is insured. In the event of delays for which Hipper Machines is not responsible (force majeure, shortages of raw materials), the customer will be informed immediately and the delivery deadline will be extended accordingly.
§ 5 Retention of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of Hipper Machines until the purchase price has been paid in full.
§ 6 Warranty
The statutory warranty for defects applies. For consumers, the warranty period is 24 months from delivery. In the event of a defect, Hipper Machines is entitled, at its own discretion, to remedy the defect or to deliver replacement goods.
§ 7 Goodwill
Beyond the statutory warranty, we strive for a long-term, fair relationship with our customers. If a defect occurs on the mechanics of a delivered machine after the warranty period — and is not caused by improper handling, mechanical force or unauthorised repair attempts — we will decide on a case-by-case basis whether to offer a free repair, a replacement, or a contribution to the cost. There is no legal entitlement to such goodwill arrangements.
§ 8 Right of Revocation
Consumers domiciled in the European Union have a right of revocation in accordance with the separate revocation policy. The revocation policy can be found under "Revocation" and forms part of these terms. For orders from countries outside the EU, the special provisions for international orders described in the revocation policy apply.
§ 9 Liability
Hipper Machines is liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability beyond this is excluded.
§ 10 Final Provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers resident abroad, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for contracts with businesses is Rosenheim, Germany. If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
